The bank wanted to re-package its loan products to help accountholders get additional funds when unplanned expenses occur. And they wanted to make it instant and easy for their customer, without lengthy loan applications and closings. So we spent a year working with their product, operations, IT and Legal/Compliance designing an unsecured loan product that would deposit funds directly into a checking account when certain emergencies arose. Other terms of the product are proprietary, but we’ll just say it provided on-going revenue for the bank while meeting a market need and staying true to the bank’s vision: Helping Customers Succeed Financially.
